Operation Banner: The British Army in Northern Ireland.

Undoubtedly Northern Ireland is one of the most controversial British military campaigns in recent history. After publishing this article several years ago, I was surprised at the positive feedback I received from both sides of this divided community. However, it also received some criticism from both Republicans and Loyalists.
